Is this service free? How much does it cost?

People who register for the WhoLivesNearYou Service become 'Verified Members'. The fees were provided to you upon verification and may change from time to time upon electronic notice served to you and reflected in the Terms of Service.

How do I upgrade/verify my account?

Upgrade is done by way of SMS. To prevent users from signing up multiple accounts, users may only sign up once with a mobile number. Due to technical reasons, we regret that we are unable to accept prepaid cards at this moment. Click here to follow the verification procedure if you have not already done so.

Are prepaid cards accepted?

Due to technical reasons, we regret that we are unable to accept prepaid cards at this moment. Also to note is that the acquiring of a prepaid mobile line is easily achieved and therefore it is in our interest to prevent banned users to re-register with a prepaid number. We are certainly looking into ways to provide for members without a standard mobile line.

What form of privacy do you have to prevent someone from finding out my postal code, and linking me to that particular address?

It is impossible for a stranger to find out your exact address unless you reveal it to the person. However, it may be possible for someone to guess your postal code as after all, all of you are living in the same area and thus have similar postal codes. To safeguard your privacy and yet enjoy the website's features, we have introduced 3 levels of privacy settings. Click here to alter these settings.
